Pull collects no personal data. There is no account, no login, no analytics, no cloud sync, and no third-party SDKs. Every shot you log lives only on your iPhone and Apple Watch.

What data Pull stores

Pull stores the following only on your device, in a local SQLite database inside the app’s sandbox:

• Espresso shot records (time, dose, yield, ratio, taste, notes)
• Bean and equipment entries you create
• Optional photos you attach (stored as files in the app’s local storage)
• App preferences (target time, default ratio, streak counters)

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly:

• Use Apple’s iCloud Backup of your iPhone (controlled by you in iOS Settings; we are not involved).
• Hand your iPhone to someone else.

Data shared with the Apple Watch

When you pair an Apple Watch, Pull uses Apple’s WatchConnectivity framework to sync shot logs between iPhone and watch over Bluetooth/Wi-Fi (Apple’s device-to-device transport). This data does not transit our servers — we operate no servers.

What we do not do

• We do not have a backend, cloud, or third-party server.
• We do not collect analytics, telemetry, crash reports, or device identifiers.
• We do not show advertisements or use advertising SDKs.
• We do not sell, rent, or share any data — there is no data to share.
• We do not use your data for AI training.

Permissions Pull may ask for

• Camera — only when you tap “Add photo” on a shot or bean.
• Photo Library — only when you tap “Choose from library”.

Your rights

Because Pull stores nothing on our servers, requests under GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws to access, export, or delete your data resolve to “use the controls inside the app”. You can:

• Delete any shot, bean, or equipment entry from the relevant detail screen.
• Delete the entire app, which removes all locally stored data permanently.

Children

Pull is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change Pull’s data practices, we will update this page and bump the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will also appear in the app’s changelog.
